I am a forest ecologist and forest model developer

at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.


My research focuses on forest management, forest ecosystem services,

climate change, and natural disturbance ecology in temperate forests.


I am also a forestry and statistics consultant

and I engage in science teaching and science communication.
